Some more thoughts on God…

Perhaps it is easier to describe/define God through our hearts rather than our minds. That being the case, I can best describe God through my FEELINGS! I can FEEL God—I FEEL a warmth, a sense of well-being in my heart when I think of God. I FEEL His caress in the breeze and the warmth of the sun on my face when I’m out walking. I FEEL His protection when I am driving. I can FEEL a peace come over me in stressful situations. I receive His guidance through my FEELINGS and through the synchronicities He arranges in my life—I call Him the Great Choreographer—placing people and events in my life at just the right time for my ultimate benefit.

How do you define God?

When I was a child and for a long time thereafter, I thought God was this old man in the sky that was kinda like Santa Claus making a list and checking it twice to see who was naughty or nice. And he answered your prayers if he thought you were nice and he was in a good mood. When I was a child, I thought as a child–it was like seeing through a glass darkly but I see clearly now and have come to know that God is Energy. Energy can be described as the substance that can never be created or destroyed, it always was and always has been, it is everything that has ever existed, it’s moving into form, through form and out of form. This substance is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe and that includes me.
