Life’s Big Questions #2

Life’s Big Question #2

What do you think happens when you die?

If this is all there is, then what is the point? I’ll tell you what I believe tomorrow.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well, I promised my answer today to the question “What happens when you die?” Well, I believe there will be 70 tall, dark, and handsome hunks waiting just for me!! The Devil made me do it!! Teehee!!
Seriously, I believe that death is simply stepping out of an old overcoat (my body) and stepping into the next room—the spiritual dimension—the place where my Soul, my Spirit returns–the place from whence it came. You will notice I didn’t say anything about or Heaven or Hell. That’s because I don’t believe in them at least not as places we go when we die—they are places we create right here on earth. I believe that the Kingdom of Heaven lives in us as our very personal soul connection—it is palpable—we can feel it. I believe that Hell is our separation from God believing that He is separate from us—out there somewhere. I’m hoping someone will engage in this conversation with me—there is so much to talk about 😉
    What a great topic for discussion Sally! I love what you said about Heaven and Hell being something that is something we can feel right now, as it is a creation of our own mind. It makes me really think about areas where, up until this point, I have believed that God was “out there” and inaccessible. God is always with me (and all of us!) whenever we are ready to receive. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
      Thank you, ManDee for your thoughtful comment! You might enjoy reading “The Impersonal Life”–it talks about God being closer than our own breath. I have a Post in my Book Review Category that introduces this book.
    Death…a transition from physical to a space of tranquility….I know we all want to believe there will be hugs w/all our loved ones yet I believe the heaven we have earned to so much more than just a place where we continue this trying physical world.
    My question is…who come to make the transition from earth to heaven???? Is it the last person who passed or the angel or person who has been teaching us….inquiring minds want to know.
    Hi, Marla, you raise an interesting question about who comes to help make the transition from earth to heaven–I had not considered the need for my Soul to need this help–tell me more.
    An enlightening and very interesting book about the After Life is “Proof of Heaven” by Eben Alexander III M.D.
